About the author

My name is Ayaan Baba, and my pen name is Rooh. This poetry collection is actually a reflection of the journey inside me — the journey I travelled while fighting darkness and loneliness.For years, I was surrounded by questions about life and confused thoughts. Loneliness became my companion, and silence became my secret friend. In those days, I started reading poets like Ghalib, Mir, Jaun, Faraz, and Parveen. I wrote my first verse at the age of twelve. Today, when I am sixteen, my poetry collection is in your hands. If my poetry knocks on any forgotten wall of your heart, then know — Rooh is no longer alone, Rooh has now found himself.
