About the author

Zuhaib Fayaz is a novice of urdu poetry who resides in Srinagar, Kashmir and is currently completing his degree in B.E in Computer Science Engineering. Though he is a computer geek at mind, his love for poetry started off pretty early. He started writing since he was 14 years old which he says is because it was in his blood as his grandfather was a poet too. This is why he has set his takhallus (pen name) as the same as his grandfather’s i.e Aseer to pay homage to him. His genre of poetry revolves mainly around love and separation from beloved because of the influence on him by poets like Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib, Waseem Barelvi, Ahmad Faraz and many others. So this book life seen and felt by him but jotted down in a way that it rhymes.
