Kashmir meri Nazar se a book that embarks you on a journey to heavenly abode place of India Kashmir. I've not been to Kashmir yet but through this book i got to experience a glimpse of how amazing this place is. As a debut book, Jyoti bhardwaj has killed it with jotting down her imagination and emotions in this book. This book is an experiance of purity of Kashmir. She not only went there once, twice or thrice. She's been there now for 5 times for which I envy her :p Her writing style is impeccable which transported me to Kashmir and helped me experience every emotion that she felt. It's said that, "In Kashmir, every mountain has a story to tell" and this book told Jyoti's stories. The poetry in the book was like a cherry on top. Struggling with studies and her career and at the same time traveling to the most beautiful place on the earth is a dream for many! And you know what's the best part? In this book we saw people who were there for her despite being a stranger like Zaffar, Mansoor sir, Adil but we have people like Suhas who were marrying her only for her money, how they threatened. The love she received from the people of Kashmir healed her scars. I love how she describes the love for all the places she went during her trips to Kashmir which makes me want to visit them soon. I loved the poetry she wrote after every trip to kashmir. This book teaches us the meaning of self love, how warmth and simplicity of people can create a great impact on one. The collection of words too good so easy n good part is ..there is no use of fancy words. Second I never went kashmir n I saw kashmir through dis book. All characters were amazing mine fav. was Rasool uncle. And I don't know but there is a story missing about bushra... I want to know y she stopped communication with u... there is a story which u nt wrote in dis book. N last about ur story... depiction is a different part but actually in my opinion u r the hero of book I mean heroin🙂( pink suit white dupatta.. 💞) I don't know y but ur line from the book... This is not the first time I am reading Jyoti Bhardwaj’s written pieces. I have been following her poetry and articles in her jindgi section of Dainik Bhaskar newspaper from a long time now, so it was but obvious to read this book of hers. Like always she has nailed it. Very well written. 5 stars from my side. Totally recommended 💯
