About the book

During tenure of my service period author had an opportunity to visit the entire valley including temperate regions of Chenab valley, Rajouri, Poonch regions and Leh division as well. During official feld visits had also privilege to view high snow covered mountain peaks, green thick alpine forestry areas, major river (s), gushing streams, silent brooks, calm serene Lakes, wetland and wild life reserves, flora-fauna including different cropping system situations (rice, maize, oilseed, wheat) fruit orchard clusters and bushy agro-forestry plantation groves (enclaves) etc. Luckily the visit also opened window to visit location of revered sites of Saints and Sages spread over the Valley. (Annexture-1) After supernuation utilized major available time deleving in the past of my mother land “(Mouj Kashir)”. LateIy decided to jot down my small humble observations / experiences for the interested personnal and youth.
