Here I am suprised. This lady Shameem khan has wrote such incrediable lines in her poems that even me being 48 years old, i was stunned by the fact and made me believe that i should also write something down. God bless her. Write like her inspire people to do better.

Being a Kashmir Pandit, it is always an pleasure to explore Kashmiri writers but mostly i have not come across such simple literature by anyone except Shameem Khan Ji. She writes her books in a simple manner yet her way to reach hearts gets easy because everyone can relate. Life should be simple and that is what this piece of literature represents. It is a symbol of peace and diversity in Kashmiri literature.

This is one of those books I definitely would love to read all over again. The plot is simple but, you feel glued from the very inception, the background, stanzas, and everything has been portrayed vividly so that you can visualise easily.

I have an interesting memory with this book. In this day and age, when kids are always on their phones, my granddaughter gifted me this book and told me I would love it. I was really happy with this gesture and, without wasting a single moment, I dove right into reading it. The book had a beautiful cover, and I could sense it would be about nature. My intuition was right. It’s such a well-written book on nature that I loved every page. But what matters more to me is the fact that my granddaughter loved it. A well crafted combination and deeply engrossing. I remember how it glued my interest with every turning page. The author has done a splendid job in terms of imagination and execution, publisher has also done an amazing job in terms of quality amd design. I love the way it impacted me. I was travelling to Kashmir last week and I happen to check suddenly the writer's of Kashmir and I saw this book covor on Lieper and i bought it, I read it in Pahalgam after a long walk from trekking, I had cup of tea and read it. It gave me a feeling to adore nature so much that I am crying right now while writing this review cause I didn't wanted to go back to Mumbai, the cooperate Jungle but feel the freedom in nature. Being in my early 60s is a totally different thing. All my life i have worked and worked very hard but then when you hit that retirement age and there’s nothing to do. You move to gardening. While searching for books on gardening, i saw this book and the way people wrote about it. I was definitely sure these are not real feelings that people are expressing and my opinion changed completely. This author Shameem, she is a mastermind in crafting a picture in mind. Omg her book was so relaxing to read. I just didn’t wanted it to finish. I’m rooting for her. She has definitely earned herself a reader for life.

All poems were amazing but the poem I really admire is "Mother". Every word in this poem is heart touching. Other than this, poems like "A special bond" and "The night slips down" were amazing.
